Beyoncé performances don’t exactly come cheap, but how much did the singer’s Halftime performance during the Christmas game between the Houston Texans and the Baltimore Ravens cost Netflix? That’s been the question on everyone’s mind after the singer made her NFL Christmas Gameday debut with a live performance of songs from her latest album, Cowboy Carter.
She wasn’t alone either. Instead, Beyoncé was joined by backup dancers—including daughter Blue Ivy Carter, who got a shoutout in the lyrics to one of her songs—and a marching band, plus Post Malone and Shaboozey. That was during the live part of the performance because there was also a pre-recorded intro set in the stadium tunnels, which saw her riding on a white horse while singing “16 Carriages” and then moving on to a cover of The Beatles’ “Blackbird.”

For that, she was joined by singers Tiera Kennedy, Tanner Adell, Reyna Roberts, and Brittney Spencer.
It was a pretty impressive spectacle on a big stage, and many people were watching, both for the game and the performance itself. But how much did Beyoncé get paid for the Netflix halftime show? Here’s what we know.
How much did Beyoncé get paid for her Netflix Halftime show?
Though there are no specific numbers for the performance, we know it was produced by Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment and Jesse Collins Entertainment and is reportedly part of a $60 million three-project deal signed between the singer and the streaming service way back in 2019.
According to Variety, Beyoncé’s first project with Netflix was the 2019 documentary Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé, which featured her headlining slot at the 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, with the price for that film reported to be around $20 million. That means that, though there is no confirmation, this project is also rumored to be around the same price range, with the third project in the deal expected to be around the same price range.
There are no indications that the third project in the deal will be as of yet. Netflix has also not yet released any viewing data for either of the Christmas games.

Netflix streamed two games during Christmas, the game where Beyoncé appeared during Halftime, which saw the Ravens beat the Texans 31-2, and an earlier game which saw the defending Champions Kansas City Chiefs beat the Pittsburg Steelers 29-10 to clinch home field advantage with a nearly perfect 15-1 record. The Chiefs are seeking to become the first team in NFL history to win three Super Bowls in a row.
The two games were streamed on Netflix for the first time as part of the streaming services’ recently signed deal with the NFL to stream Christmas Day games. That deal was worth $150 million.
Both NFL games will only be available the day after Christmas, though the streamer has announced the Halftime show will soon be available as a standalone special. No release date has been confirmed for that yet, but considering there isn’t much to be done there, just cut the performance from the games, it will likely be available soon.
