Big Brother fans have noticed that Angela has been on yet another CBS production amid theories that she’s been a production plant. The real estate agent was spotted on The Price Is Right and Let’s Make a Deal, but now new clips have resurfaced on a very familiar show.
Back on August 18th, 2021, the Big Brother star was featured on Dr. Phil with the rest of her family. The TV therapist encountered her family where her teenage daughter didn’t talk to her father or sister along the way. Angela was also in hot water with the host after he accused her of “enabling the behavior” of her daughter, Lexi. When her husband Chuck yelled at her and threw her phone in the pool after telling her not to excessively use it, it was revealed that Angela was sneaking back her daughter’s phone back to her. The episode ended with Dr. Phil amending all their family drama. “It was nothing short of a miracle, to be honest!” Angela recalled.

Viewers of the show have raised their eyebrows at Angela’s involvement in reality TV, even going as far as accusing her as a plant. “As much as I enjoy Angela it is so abundantly clear that she was a production plant an entertaining one but still 100% a plant and it becomes more obvious by the day #BB26,” one fan posted on X, with several people sharing the same sentiment.
However, the producers think of her differently. “She’s been so fun to watch, so unexpected. With all those things, I don’t necessarily blame people for wondering, because it’s been surprising and shocking along the way,” executive producer Rich Meehan said in an interview with Deadline. “But it is always funny, the conspiracy theories that are out there.”
As for her track record with appearing on TV, the producers think that it doesn’t really affect how they view her in the House. “There are a tons of shows, but I don’t think because she was on The Price is Right and in a Dr. Phil episode makes her necessarily an actor,” said producer Allison Grodner. Meehan concurred, “She hasn’t done a lot. She hasn’t done the competition reality type of show. That’s very different from a fun game show.
“Obviously we like to think we built the structure with some of the twists and powers and all of that,” Grodner reflected about Angela’s time. “But in the end, who could predict Angela walking down the stairs, the Angela and Matt thing and Tucker’s audacity? Those are surprises and good ones at that.”
Angela was the first Head of Household for the 2024 Big Brother season and fans saw her ruthless power when she put Matt on the chopping block on the first week. “I think Matt made some mistakes in terms of that conversation he had [with Angela in the HOH room], but I think there’s no doubt that she was a bit extreme, calling him out,” Grodner said of the feud. “Then again, the house does get the best of you. There’s paranoia in that house always, and she succumbed to it, for sure.”
